Prof. Yuntian Zhu has been awarded the Second Prize of the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Natural Science) by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
The award recognizes Prof. Zhu’s work on “Cross-scale heterostructure design and strengthening mechanisms in metallic materials”, which has advanced the understanding and engineering of high-performance structural materials. It was officially conferred on December 19, 2025.
