Prof. Yuntian Zhu has been honored with the Second Prize of the State Nature Science Award. The award was based on a research, "Strengthening and Toughening of Heterostructured Metallic Materials". The four co-winners of this award are Prof. Xiaolei Wu of the Institute of Mechanics, CAS, Prof. Yuntian Zhu of the City University of Hong Kong, and Prof. Chongxiang Huang of Sichuan University and Prof. Fuping Yuan of the Institute of Mechanics, CAS.
